Tgapo Studio
I don’t remember a time when I didn’t make art—from crayon masterpieces to painted landscapes and wildlife. Although I majored in Art at the University of Wyoming, my path led me to a career in computer science, a family, and community. Art faded from my life, nearly disappearing entirely—until I enrolled in an adult oil painting course at the University of North Georgia. Then I enrolled again, and the one after that. I was back!
To become a painter, I painted. To get better, I painted. I cleared a space, called it my studio, and I painted. I like to think that Art has forgiven me for being away so long.
“Why do I paint? Because I can’t not.”
