Gayathri Rajamani
Gayathri Fine Arts
Gayathri Rajamani is from India and currently lives with her family in Marietta, Georgia. She previously worked in IT in India, but sketching and painting have been her passions since childhood. A trained classical musician, Gayathri believes that just as music connects with the soul, painting reveals emotions that words cannot express.
When approaching her work, she processes a scene as a whole and breaks it down into shapes and elements, finding painting to be both meditative and deeply fulfilling. She initially studied classical realism under Chris Di Dimizio, exploring various mediums, and has continued her artistic education through books and the study of renowned artists. Her favorite mediums are charcoal, oil, and watercolor.
Gayathri has attended workshops with Manjushree Roy, Nishikant Palande, Suchitra Bhosle, T.J. Cunningham, Daniel Gerhartz, and Ashwini Bharathula. She has also taught art to both children and adults for many years. Her favorite subjects include portraits, still life, wildlife, florals, and landscapes.
She is a member of the Roswell Fine Arts Alliance and the Dunwoody Fine Arts Association and exhibits her work at Tranquility Fine Arts Gallery. Her art was recently featured in Metro Montage 2024 at the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art. Gayathri is also a member of the Booth Artists’ Guild, and her paintings have been exhibited at the Booth Western Art Museum and the Downtown Gallery in Cartersville, Georgia.
