Ann Currey

Ann Currey Fine Art

Ann developed a love for art from her grandmother’s influence, who also instilled in her a great love of travel—both of which have remained treasured parts of her life. When she began painting later in life, she discovered the opportunity to combine these passions. Having grown up in the West but spending most of her adult life in the East, travel has continued to be a central focus.

Her journey began with watercolor but soon progressed to oil. She has been fortunate to study with several notable contemporary artists, including Bill Davidson, Chris Groves, and Matt Smith. It is her love of the surrounding landscape and the disappearing vistas that shape her artistic vision. Each painting reflects her gratitude for the incredible beauty our God has graciously bestowed upon us. Ann currently teaches at Townsend Atelier in Chattanooga, TN.
