Carl Turner Fine Art

Carl Turner attended Atlanta College of Art (now SCAD Atlanta). After art school, he enjoyed a successful career as an award-winning illustrator, designer, and art director. Carl studied with the nationally acclaimed teacher Daniel Green in New York and attended night classes at the New York Art Academy, studying under Sam Adouquei.

In 2002, Carl moved to Charleston, South Carolina, to paint full-time. He began taking portrait commissions and painting coastal landscapes. Carl exhibited his work at Piccolo Spoleto, winning a Governor’s Award in his first year. His work attracted attention from several galleries in Charleston’s thriving arts community, and he was invited to show pieces that sold successfully.

In 2021, Carl returned to Georgia, where he continues to find inspiration in painting wildlife, landscapes, and portraits. You can visit his website or contact him directly for information on available works and pricing.
