The BAG Annual Exhibition is on view at the Booth Western Art Museum’s Borderlands Gallery through August 9, 2026. Details for the 2027 Annual Exhibition will be announced soon.

Submission Period: August 8–29, 2026
Artwork Drop-Off: September 8–12, 2026, during regular business hours (10:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Awards & Receptions: September 19, 2026

- Booth Photography Guild (BPG): 4:00–5:30 PM
We encourage all participating artists to note the submission deadlines and reception times. These exhibitions showcase the exceptional talent, creativity, and professionalism of our guild members, and we look forward to celebrating your work this fall.
Downtown Gallery Show Guidelines
- Current Booth Artists Guild (BAG) members with an active Booth Museum membership are eligible to submit artwork for consideration.
- Artists may submit up to three original works of art.
- Artwork created in a classroom setting is eligible, provided the instructor did not paint on or otherwise manipulate the work.
- Acceptable media includes: painting, drawing, mixed media, and three-dimensional works.
- Two-dimensional artwork, including the frame, may not exceed 36 inches in width.
- Artwork previously exhibited in an Annual Booth Artists' Guild Exhibition is eligible for a Downtown Gallery Show, provided it meets all other submission requirements.
- All artwork accepted for a Downtown Gallery Show must be offered for sale.
- All sales will be processed by the Downtown Gallery. Artwork sold through the gallery is subject to a 35% gallery commission, with 65% of the sale price paid to the artist. Artists may choose to receive payment via ACH direct deposit or by mailed check.
- Artwork containing nudity will not be accepted.
Submitting Images for a Downtown Gallery Show
You will receive confirmation that your submission has been received within three business days. If you do not receive a confirmation within that time, please contact the Downtown Gallery at 770-387-4330 to verify that your submission was received.
Follow the steps below to submit your artwork for consideration:

Take pictures of your art ensuring the images are clearly seen and not blurry.
- Save your images in .jpg format if possible. Do not worry about naming it. Your images will be correctly named before placing them into the judge’s file.

Open a new email and address it to: [email protected]

Attach your image or images.

Each work of art you submit must not exceed 36" in width with the frame.

If unframed, it must be a "gallery wrapped" canvas. The thickness of the gallery wrapped canvas is the artist's choice. (see photo)

All sides of the canvas must be painted if the canvas is not framed.
- For each image you submit you must state in the body of the email, the following:
- Artist Name
- Title of the Art
- Dimensions of the art
- Medium
